Reynolds Kitchens® Tips

Reynolds Wrap® Tip

Using Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil to grill pizza makes cooking, cleaning up and wrapping leftovers a breeze.

For Vegetables

  • 2 cups fresh corn kernels, from 2 medium ears
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced (3/4 cup)
  • 3/4 cup frozen shelled edamame, thawed (or lima beans)
  • 1 large shallot, diced (1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh black pepper, to taste

For Turkey Meatloaf

  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 6 tablespoons Kansas City-stylebarbece sauce, divided, plus more optional for serving
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Step 1

Preheat the grill to high heat, covered. Place 4 large 10 x 18-inch pieces of Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil on a flat surface. To bake in the oven, preheat oven to 425 degrees F and cook about 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 2

Place the vegetables in a medium bowl and mix well with olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon salt and black pepper. Divide vegetables between 4 pieces of foil and place in the center of each.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, oatmeal, 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce, onion, egg, 3/4 teaspoon salt and marjoram, mix well. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a 4 x 2½-inch free-form loaf.

Step 4

Transfer to the Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil over the veggies. Brush the remaining 3 tablespoons of barbecue sauce over the top of the loaves.

Step 5

Bring up the long sides of the Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil, so the ends meet over the food. Double fold the ends, leaving room for heat to circulate inside. Double fold the two short ends to seal the packet tight, so no steam escapes.

Step 6

Grill covered on direct heat over the flames for 10 minutes. Move to indirect heat (away from the open flame) until the meatloaf is cooked through in the center, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Step 7

Use gloves or tongs to remove and carefully open. Serve with more (optional) barbecue sauce on top, if desired.
