How to make a parchment packet for steaming

Step-by-step directions:

  2. Place food on half of the paper, near the crease

How to make a parchment sling

Step-by-step directions:

  2. Tear off a piece of parchment from the roll and trim so it fits the width of the pan and extends 1-2 inches over the sides
  3. Tear off a second piece of paper and trim for the other sides of pan
  4. Pour in batter, bake, and enjoy

How to line a loaf pan with parchment

This is like our parchment sling, but with slits to create center flaps to fit the smaller-size loaf pan.

Step-by-step directions:

  1. Tear a piece of parchment from the roll that is larger than your loaf pan.
  2. Turn the pan upside down in the center of the paper. Cut out squares and fold the paper.
  3. Cut two slits on each short end of the paper.
  4. Cut out squares on the right and left sides so that only a flap of paper in the center remains.
  5. Fold the center flap of paper in on each side.
  6. Fold the outside thirds of the paper toward the middle.
  7. Place the folded piece of paper inside the loaf pan (it should fit in the bottom). Unfold so the short flaps line each end.
  8. Fill with batter, bake, and enjoy.
