Red Wine Cheese Ball Pairing

A perfect paring for any party, this three-layer cheese ball made using Plastic Wrap will have you nibbling away at layers while sipping complementary red wines. Serve layer 1 with Merlot, layer 2 with Malbec and layer 3 with Pinot Noir.

Directions

LINE a medium sized mixing bowl with Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut Plastic Wrap and set aside.

COMBINE all ingredients for layer 1 in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to fully combine.

TRANSFER mixture to plastic wrap lined bowl. Using a second piece of plastic wrap, press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the bowl to create a smooth and even layer. Cover in plastic wrap and transfer to freezer for 15 minutes.

COMBINE all ingredients for layer 2 in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to fully combine.

TRANSFER mixture to plastic wrap lined bowl, on top of layer 1. Using a second piece of plastic wrap, press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of layer 1 to create a smooth and even second layer. Cover in plastic wrap and transfer to freezer for 15 minutes.

COMBINE all ingredients for layer 3 in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to fully combine.

TRANSFER mixture into the cavity on top of layer 2. Using a second piece of plastic wrap to press and smooth top. Cover in plastic wrap and chill until firm, about 2 hours.

REMOVE plastic wrap from base of chilled cheese ball. Invert on to a plate. Remove loaf pan, then remove plastic wrap from cheese ball. Cover with chopped almonds before serving. Serve layer 1 with Merlot, layer 2 with Malbec and layer 3 with Pinot Noir.
