A Versatile Kitchen Tool

Check out some common uses for aluminum foil around your kitchen.

Covering Dishes and Pans:

Covering foods in the oven with Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil helps prevent over-browning and drying out. For cheesy or sticky foods use Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil with the non-stick (dull) side down toward food

Additionally, use Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil as a quick cover for skillets or pans that have no lids. Covering stovetop pans prevents splattering and messy cleanup. Carefully lift foil with a potholder when checking or removing food.

Line Pans with Foil:

Lining your cooking pans is a simple way to cut down on cleanup! To line your pan, simply flip it upside down and tear off a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil as long as the pan. Mold the foil around the base so that it forms to the shape of your bakeware. Flip the pan over and place foil liner inside.

Line Pans with Non-Stick Foil:

Lining pans with non-stick foil is ideal for cheesy or sticky goods. To line your pans with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil, simply follow the steps listed above, making sure to keep the shiny side of the foil facing you. This ensures that the non-stick side of the foil touches your food, not your pan.

Make Your Own Ramekin with Foil:

Making soufflé? Improvise and make your own soufflé dish with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil. It’s super simple and will work when you’re in a pinch!

First, use a dish that you already have to model your foil ramekin after. Turn it upside down and press the foil over the bottom of the ramekin. Remove the foil and then scrunch the edges down to make your own little bowl. Then follow the directions of your favorite soufflé recipe and use your foil bowl.

Customize Meals:

Foil packets are a great way to manage mess and customize meals! You can create a custom serving for any picky eaters to make sure everyone gets to enjoy their favorites.
