Adding color to your favorite foods is easy! Use a simple mix of heavy cream and food coloring for a fun, edible painting method.
HOW TO COLOR EMPANADAS
- Divide 1 cup of heavy cream in as many bowls as you would like colors.
- Add food coloring to each bowl and mix until desired color is achieved.
- Using a small paintbrush, paint the colored cream wash onto each Empanada or pie crust on a parchment-lined pan. Apply a second coat if necessary for desired color.
- Freeze for 15 minutes and bake according to directions.
