Reynolds Kitchens® Tips

Reynolds Kitchens Tip

Line your pan with Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil for easy cleanup!

  • Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Foil
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 2 cups cornbread, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup queso fresco, crumbled
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt

Step 1

Place 4 ounces of ground turkey on a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty foil. It should be about 16 inches long. Using a fork, mash down the meat gently so it is uniform and about half an inch thick.

Step 2

Top the meat with 1/4 cup cornbread, 2 tablespoons salsa, 2 tablespoons queso fresco, 2 tablespoons bell peppers, and a pinch of sea salt.

Step 3

Tightly fold the sides of the foil packet so that the seam is on top and the liquid will not leak out.

Step 4

Repeat the process until you’ve used all the ingredients to create more turkey tamale foil packets.

Step 5

Place the packets directly in a preheated 350° F oven or on a preheated grill that has been heated to medium-high (approximately 350° F). Cook for about 20 minutes, or until the meat is thoroughly cooked.

Step 6

Remove the foil packets from the heat and let cool slightly.

Step 7

Carefully open and serve hot.
