  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Key lime juice or regular lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoonhabaneropowder or cayenne pepper
  • 3 large sweet potatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick


Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

Step 2

SHAKE flour in Reynolds® Oven Bag large size.

Step 3

PLACE in 13x9x2-inch baking pan with opening towards wide side of pan.

Step 4

ADD all ingredients except sweet potatoes to oven bag; squeeze bag to blend in flour.

Step 5

ADD sweet potatoes; turn to coat evenly. Arrange ingredients in an even layer.

Step 6

CLOSE oven bag with nylon tie; cut six 1/2-inch slits in top. Tuck ends of bag in pan.

Step 7

BAKE 45 to 50 minutes or until sweet potatoes are tender.

Step 8

Spoon sauce over sweet potatoes before serving.
